We started our salon and spa humbly, and couldn’t imagine the incredible reception we’ve experienced over the years. We’re thankful to all of Tucson for helping us grow and succeed.
About The Reader’s Choice Awards
Every year, the Arizona Daily Star allows its Tucson readers to nominate and vote on a wide variety of “best of” categories. The purpose is for the community to select the best and brightest destinations for meals, sports, entertainment, pampering experiences, and so much more. Greentoes has been nominated and awarded in the past at the suggestion of Tucsonans who have enjoyed their experience with us.
We Love Our Community
Greentoes was founded by native Tucsonans. Being born and raised here gives us an appreciation for the unique local culture we’re privileged to share with the people who come to visit us. Our roots are strong here, and we’re delighted to thrive in the community that means so much to us. We started with a single location on N 6th Avenue in Tucson, and become fortunate enough to open a second location on W Roller Coaster Road in North Tucson. Our roots are spreading, and it’s all thanks to you.
The Greentoes Story
Greentoes was founded by a teacher who had a dream – a literal dream – about opening an eco chic mani pedi studio. Then came the most important question: why not make that dream a reality? The wheels moved fast. The dream became an actual business less than a year later. Starting a business is always difficult, but the vision was so clear. We knew exactly what we wanted to achieve, and we set out to do it.
Now, we’re serving environmentally conscious clients in two different Tucson locations. We’ve only made things better over the years by specially hand curating the products we use and the services we offer. We’re eternally grateful that the people of Tucson find that we’re the best for their needs when it comes to manicures, pedicures, waxing, facials, massages, and dermaplaning.
The Greentoes Nail Salon Experience
Part of what makes Greentoes so unique is the products we use. We always try to make the right choices for both our clients and the environment. We use healthy nail lacquers. These lacquers are vegan, free from many harmful chemicals and preservatives, and not tested on animals. It’s possible to have beautiful nails and a beautiful planet. Our polishes are the cleanest spa line available.
We offer several varieties of manicures and pedicures to our clients. Our Express service is simple, including a quick hand and arm massage and lacquer application. The Essential services include trimming and filing, as well as a soak tonic bath with a custom fragrance.
Our Signature service is a client favorite, featuring a moisturizing organic herb blend to exfoliate and hydrate the hands. This pampering session lasts about an hour and includes a complimentary mini bottle of lacquer.
Our top tier service, the Slow Beauty manicure, is a luxurious pampering session. It begins with a meditative breathing experience to help relax the mind and body. The hands and arms are exfoliated and moisturized with natural ingredients, followed by a specially selected restorative masque to help nourish and repair the skin.
